The Brazilian Automobile Club (ACBr) had the honor of participating in the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, held in Marrakech, Morocco. This event, organized by the Kingdom of Morocco and the World Health Organization, brought together global leaders, ministers, and experts to strengthen the commitment to reducing road traffic fatalities and enhancing global road safety.

Brazil’s participation in this event reinforced the country’s commitment to safe and sustainable mobility. Brazilian delegations played an active role, contributing strategic insights to advance road safety measures.

The Role of FIA Region IV in Strengthening Road Safety

As a member of FIA Region IV, the Brazilian Automobile Club actively participated in the conference, contributing to discussions on mobility, road safety, and traffic education. The presence of FIA Region IV President Ricardo Morales, alongside the Brazilian Delegation and the National Secretary of Transport, highlighted the importance of international cooperation in advancing road safety policies in the country.

During the conference, crucial topics related to road safety were addressed, including:

The event concluded with the Marrakech Declaration on Global Road Safety, endorsed by participants, emphasizing the urgent need for concrete and coordinated actions to ensure citizen safety and promote sustainable mobility.
