Important debate on Education, Management, and Mobility at the XIX National Forum of Transit Councils

On May 23, 2024, the Brazilian Automobile Club (ACBr), a member of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), participated in a significant meeting at the headquarters of the Goiás State Transit Council (CETRAN/GO). This meeting brought together several renowned entities, including CETRAN/GO, ACBr-FIA, Pelegrino Cipriani Higher Education Faculty (Faspec) and SMM/GO, with the aim of debating essential themes such as Education, Management, and Mobility.

Participation of Entities and Representatives

The meeting was attended by illustrious representatives, including:

  • Dr. Humberto Kennedy, Vice President of ACBr-FIA
  • Kleber Denis Pinto, Director of Faspec
  • Horário Ferreira, Councilor and SMM/GO Agent
  • Dr. Nayara Coimbra, President of CETRAN/GO

During the meeting, these participants presented innovative proposals and discussed initiatives focused on improving municipal management and education for mobility. Dr. Nayara Coimbra, leader of CETRAN/GO, highlighted the importance of collaboration between entities to face the current challenges in the transit sector.

According to President Coelho, the recognition from the FIA serves as a testament to the pivotal role played by ACIAG and the City Hall of Aparecida in fostering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. “From initiatives aimed at improving road infrastructure to programs raising awareness about public and alternative transportation, ACIAG and the City Hall have led efforts to create a more accessible, efficient, and eco-friendly environment for all its citizens,” he stated.

Participants emphasized the crucial role of the XIX National Forum of Transit Councils (FOCOTRAN) as a vital space for the exchange of ideas and solutions. They reinforced the continuous support of FIA, ACBr, Faspec, and SMM in the efficient management of municipalities, underlining the relevance of this collaboration both in national and international scenarios.
