Triumph Launches Production of New 400cc Motorcycles in Brazil

Triumph has already started production of the new 400 cc motorcycles in Brazil. The English brand expects to produce – and deliver – 2,000 units by the first half of May. With the success of the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X models, Triumph also announced a new batch of 1,000 units at the same launch price.

So far, the company has sold 1,400 units of the new 400cc Triumphs. The first consumers purchased the motorcycle in November, when the first batch of 400 motorcycles sold out in less than 24 hours. At the end of January, the brand opened another batch, this time of 1,000 units, which also ended. However, until now, customers had not yet received the bikes.

“This is a historic moment for Triumph in Brazil, the production of the first 400 cc motorcycle is a milestone in entering a segment that is experiencing strong growth in the country. We appreciate the patience of our customers who are eagerly awaiting their motorcycles, we were the victim of worldwide logistical problems, beyond our control. In this way, Triumph do Brasil will place its entire manufacturing workforce in Manaus focused on the exclusive production of 400 cc motorcycles to serve customers in the first batches. We should deliver more than 2,000 motorcycles between April and May”, projects Renato Fabrini General Manager of the operation in Brazil.

Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X maintain launch price

Triumph took advantage of the start of production of the new 400 cc motorcycles to open another pre-sale batch of models. Another 1,000 units, scheduled for delivery in June this year, will maintain the launch prices. The price of the models is R$29,990 for the Speed 400 and R$33,990 for the Scrambler 400X.

One of the differences of the new 400cc Triumph is the maintenance interval every 16,000 km. In addition to the lower price, customers who purchase pre-sale models will receive a promotional price for the first two revisions. Each one will cost R$100, according to Fabrini.
