According to the survey, the average user of the rental service is between 25 and 44 years old, representing 70.4% of respondents.
Most of these are also part of class B (48.9% of respondents) and have completed higher education (38.9%) or postgraduate studies (26.6%). Of this total, 62.6% do not own a car.
Another highlight observed was the work model and vehicle use: the majority, 50.7% of those interviewed, work in a hybrid manner. Another 16.2% of the total analyzed works entirely from home.
According to the survey results, the main use of rental cars is leisure activities. Secondly, it appears as a means of transportation between home and work.
Other reasons, such as going to the supermarket, medical appointments, traveling and moving, for example, accumulate in the remaining 36.5%.
In addition to the majority not having their own vehicle, a portion of those interviewed (around 12%) justified the use of car rental as an alternative to the “high prices on transport apps”.
Price and flexibility in use, such as the option to rent a car via cell phone, were the most cited among the justifications.
