Portuguese Nationality
Children, grandchildren, and spouses of Portuguese citizens are entitled to Portuguese nationality. The Portuguese Nationality Law ensures the transmission of nationality in two ways: by origin and by derivation.
Through the original method, direct children can indefinitely transmit nationality. Grandchildren can acquire nationality through the derived method, from their grandparents. It’s important to mention that neither method implies the loss or renunciation of Brazilian nationality.
Portuguese legislation states that the document capable of proving nationality is the birth certificate of the Portuguese ancestor. If the descendant does not possess this documentation, our team is equipped to solve this and other issues.
Italian Nationality
