Watts, Grupo Multi’s mobility company, launched the first electric trail motorcycle on the Brazilian market. Named W-Trail, the bike has inverted suspension, with 190 mm of travel, at the front, monoshock suspension at the rear. It promises versatility and robustness to drive, without polluting, also on dirt roads.
Presented by Watts, during the Interlagos Motos 2024 Festival, the W-Trail has a central electric motor with 12,000W of maximum power, equivalent to 16 hp. With an incredible 38.7 m.kgf of maximum torque, the trail can reach 100 km/h. Its 72V and 58Ah lithium battery offers 100 kilometers of autonomy, according to the automaker.
“W-Trail shows that it is possible to expand the variety of categories of electric motorcycles and that they are capable of meeting the most diverse profiles of motorcyclists, balancing power and autonomy”, says Rodrigo Gomes, founder and commercial director of Watts.
The W-Trail arrives at Watts dealerships in August. With two color options, blue and red, the electric trail bike will cost R$31,990.
What is the Watts electric trail like?
With a design that even resembles the Honda XRE 190, due to its “beak”, the W-Trail has LED headlights and a digital panel. With 19-inch wheels at the front and 18-inch wheels at the rear, it features mixed-use tires that reinforce its adventurous motorcycle look.

The suspensions – inverted fork, at the front, and a shock absorber with a link, at the back – reinforce its ability to run on any terrain. The brakes, disc on both wheels, have a combined system (CBS).
A new feature of the Watts electric trail bike is the possibility of recharging it at stations for electric cars. According to the company, it can be charged to 100% in up to three hours. As it is portable, the battery can also be recharged using common sockets.
Other options include a presence key with alarm and the facility of automatic transmission, which even engages reverse gear.
Although it is an electric motorcycle, the W-Trail also needs to undergo periodic inspections. According to the automaker, inspections are free of charge and occur at 1,000 km and 5,000 km. Like other motorcycles produced by Watts, the W-Trail has a 12-month warranty for the motorcycle chassis and 24 months for the engine and battery.
